Youtuber lodges complaint after his nude video goes viral in Mumbai

Mumbai: A 21-year-old youtuber from Mumbai have lodged a complaint at the Bandra police station that someone allegedly gotten unauthorised access of the footage of CCTV camera installed in his apartment and shared his nude video on social media platforms.
The incident took place on November 17, but it came to light when it went viral on December 9.
The victim then registered a complaint at the Bandra police station. In his complaint, he mentioned that one of his friend called him and informed that his nude videos are going viral on social media.
The youtuber then checked the video and found that it was from the CCTV camera that he had installed in his room for his safety.
A case has been registered against unidentified persons under Indian Penal Code sections, including defamation, and the Information Technology Act, the official said.
An investigation is underway.
