Woman gang-raped in moving bus en route from UP to Rajasthan

Jaipur: A 20-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by two men on moving bus en route from Uttar Pradesh to Rajasthan. The incident occurred on December 9 and 10 when the private bus was on its way to Jaipur from Uttar Pradesh.

According to reports, the 20-year-old victim took the bus from Kanpur and was traveling to Jaipur. She was sitting in the cabin of the bus when the incident happened. The accused have been identified as Arif and Lalit, the drivers of the bus. They reportedly raped the woman inside the cabin.

The victim shouted when the incident occurred which alerted the passengers inside the bus. They immediately got the bus stopped and caught Arif while Lalit managed to escape from the spot. They informed the police about the incident.

Police reached the spot and arrested Arif, while launched a search operation for Lalit. Further investigation is underway.
