Two hardcore maoists killed in police encounter in Chhatisgarh’s Narayanpur

Narayanpur: Two hardcore maoists were gunned down in a police encounter at Abujhamada jungle of Narayanpur in Chhatisgarh on Sunday morning.

Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid at the jungle after receiving some inputs about the presence of Maoists and conducting a camp. They had a gunfight with the maoists.

After the encounter stopped, the police recovered two dead bodies of hardcore maoists along with two guns and huge amount of maoist explosives, informed Naryanpur SP Pushkar Sharma.
