Shocking! Woman kills live-in partner’s 11-year-old son, stuffs body in bed box in Delhi
She allegedly strangulated the minor to death when he was sleeping and hid his body inside the box of their bed
New-Delhi: In a shocking incident, a 24-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly killing her boyfriend’s 11-year-old son and stuffed his body in a bed box in Delhi.
The arrested accused has been identified as Pooja Kumari, a resident of Ranhola. She allegedly strangulated the minor to death when he was sleeping and hid his body inside the box of their bed.
Reports say, Pooja was in a live-in relationship with one Jitender, a resident of West Delhi’s Ranhola. It is said that she held the minor boy responsible for Jitender not finalising a divorce with his wife.
On Thursday, around 8.30 pm, police received information from BLK Hospital that a boy had been brought dead and there were strangulation marks on his neck.
The police started an investigation and examined around 300 CCTV installed across several locations and found she was the last person who visited Jitender’s house.
Later, the police arrested Pooja Kumari from Bakkarwala area.
According to police, Pooja Kumari and Jitender had married at a temple of the arya Samaj on October 17, 2019. But a court marriage was not possible as Jitender had not divorced his wife.
