Rajasthan Election 2023: Voting begins for 199 assembly seats

The voting begins for the assembly elections for 199 out of 200 constituencies in Rajasthan at 7am today. Voting will continue until 6 pm.

Rajasthan: The voting begins for the assembly elections for 199 out of 200 constituencies in Rajasthan at 7am today that is November 25. The citizens are lining up outside polling booths to cast their votes from the early morning. Voting will continue until 6 pm today. The vote counting will be held on December 3, 2023.

Out of the 200 Assembly seats in Rajasthan, polling has commenced in 199 seats except for Karanpur seat as it’s candidate Gurmeet Singh Konoor passed away.

A number of 5,26,90,146 voters will play a crucial role in determining the outcomes for 1,875 candidates, including 183 female contenders, spread across 51,507 polling stations within the assembly constituencies.

As many as 2.74 lakh workers, 6,247 sector officials as well as over 1.02 lakh security personnel has been deployed for the voting.
