MHA orders Enquiry of Parliament security breach

The Enquiry Committee will investigate into the reasons for breach in security of Parliament. Besides, the committee will also identify lapses and recommend further action.

New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered an Enquiry of the parliament security breach incident. Earlier, Lok Sabha Secretariat had written MHA for parliament’s security.

Reportedly, an Enquiry Committee has been set up under Shri Anish Dayal Singh, DG, CRPF, with members from other security agencies and experts, Spokesperson, Ministry of Home Affairs said in a statement, reported ANI.

The Enquiry Committee will investigate into the reasons for breach in security of Parliament. Besides, the committee will also identify lapses and recommend further action.

It is to be noted that earlier today, two people jumped in to the chamber from the visitor’s gallery and sprayed yellow smoke, reports say.
