Men brutally thrash dog and her puppies to death in West Bengal, FIR registered
The dog and her puppies were beaten to death with sticks by a group of men who were seen giggling and enjoying while thrashing them.
Kolkata: In a distressing video going viral over the internet, a few men were seen mercilessly thrashing a stray dog and her puppies in West Bengal. The dog and her puppies were beaten to death with sticks by a group of men who were seen giggling and enjoying while thrashing them.
In the viral video, the stray dog were seen being trapped in a blue coloured net which is held by two men, while another man is seen brutally beating the dog using a stick.
Following the incident, Peta India posted a reply to the X user who had posted this video saying that an FIR has been registered into the incident by Sankrail police station under sections 428 and 429 of the IPC and 11 of PCA Act.
Further investigation into the matter is underway. Earlier, a similar type of incident was reported in North Parganas in West Bengal. A female homemaker was arrested for allegedly beating a puppy to death and injuring another puppy.
An FIR has been registered in the matter Sankrail PS under section 428 & 429 of IPC & 11 of PCA.
