IndiGo’s Delhi-Srinagar flight experiences heavy turbulence, Watch

New Delhi: An IndiGo flight en route from New Delhi to Srinagar experienced heavy turbulence mid-air due to bad weather condition on Monday.

The flight, 6E6125, which took off from the Delhi airport at 5.25 pm and reportedly faced turbulence due to heavy rain. Currently, a video of the incident is going viral over the internet.

Passengers on board flight are seen holding on to their chairs while the flight continued to shake in the video. The passengers were also seen reciting holy verses as they felt it was their last moment.

Reportedly, Baba Firdous, the chief of ‘Kashmir Seva Sangh’ was also on board the flight. After the landing, the chief of ‘Kashmir Seva Sangh’ said that it was a new life for him and all the other passengers on the flight.

Meanwhile, IndiGo is yet to issue any official statement on the incident. As per official reports, the incident occurred due to bad weather in the area.

Earlier, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that five places are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall or snowfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning till February 20. These places include Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Muzaffarabad, and Ladakh.

Issues with flights have become quite common these days, let it be due to technical issues or weather changes. Earlier, Bollywood actress Rashmika Mandanna has recently share her harrowing experience as the Air Vistara flight she was on board was forced to make an emergency landing due to a technical glitch. The incident occurred when the actress was traveling to Hyderabad from Mumbai. She was accompanied by actress Shraddha Das during the incident.
