9 New Vande Bharat Express trains to be launched soon, check routes here

New Delhi: The Vande Bharat Express, known as India’s fastest train, is currently operating on 25 routes throughout the country. However, the Indian Railways is gearing up to introduce nine more such high-speed trains to various routes in the near future.

These new trains are being manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai, and it is reported that Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, which are headed for state elections, will receive the highest number of these new trains.

Here are some of the routes where these new Vande Bharat Express trains will be deployed:

  • Indore-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express
  • Jaipur-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express
  • Puri-Rourkela Vande Bharat Express
  • Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express
  • Jaipur-Chandigarh Vande Bharat Express

Indian Railways has already assigned these five routes for the Vande Bharat Express, and three routes have been allocated to the Southern Railways. However, the names of these new trains have not been finalised yet. It remains unclear where the last Vande Bharat Express will be deployed.

Currently, there are more than 25 Vande Bharat Express trains operating across the country, covering a total of 50 routes, with 25 in each direction. These trains are distributed across various railway zones in India, ensuring that high-speed rail services are accessible to a wide range of passengers.
