3 teen girls from Tamil Nadu flee from home for Seoul to meet BTS fans with Rs 14,000

3 teen girls were rescued from Katpadi railway station in Vellore on Friday, after had undertook a journey to meet the popular K-Pop band BTS.

Chennai: In a recent incident, three teen girls were rescued from Katpadi railway station in Vellore on Friday. They had undertaken a secret journey to meet the popular K-Pop band BTS, said reliable reports in this regard.

Reports from reliable sources tell us that the three teen girls had left from home to go to Seoul on Thursday, under the pretext of going to school. They were reunited with their parents on Saturday.

Aged 13, the three teen girls decided to travel to Seoul to meet the BTS group with Rs 14,000 and no passports.

Reportedly, the three girls took a train from Erode and reached Chennai Central. Their plan was to travel to South Korea via ship from Visakhapatnam.

The parents of the girls filed missing complaint at the Thanthonimalai Police station in their native town of Karur. After which, special teams were formed to look for the missing girls.

From what is known, the girls decided to return home after not finding a way to reach Vishakhapatnam from Chennai. Police officials at the Katpadi railway station spotted the teen girls and informed the Childline at Karur police. The trio was then rescued by the CWC on Friday.
