Jaipur: In a tragic incident, three people were critical while 33 were reported injured after a bus overturned in Pratapgarh of Rajasthan. The incident took place during the late night hours of Monday, said reliable reports in this regard.
Reportedly, the bus carrying passengers was en route to Pratapgarh in Rajasthan from Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh when the bus overturned in Rajasthan. Reports from reliable sources say that the bus lost control and overturned near the Hathuniya village in Rajasthan, leading to the accident.
The local people were quick to react to the situation. They recused the trapped passengers by breaking the glass windows of the bus. All the passengers were taken to the district hospital via a truck for immediate medical assistance. Three of them were reported critical while 33 sustained minor injuries.
Officials from the nearby police station arrived at the spot and have initiated a probe into the matter. The exact reason behind the bus accident in Rajasthan is yet to be ascertained. However, the police suspect that the reason behind the accident might have been a tyre burst. Condition of the injured passengers is being monitored and investigation into the matter is underway.
