Atleast two Delhi police officers were killed as the car they were travelling collided with a truck near the Kundali border in Sonepat

New-Delhi: Atleast two Delhi police officers were killed as the car they were travelling collided with a truck near the Kundali border in Sonepat district of Haryana on Monday late night.

The deceased has been identified as Inspector Dinesh Beniwal and ATO inspector Ranveer, posted at Adarsh Nagar police station.

The accident occurred around 11.30 pm on Monday, Both the inspectors were returning to Sonepat when the car they were travelling hit a truck. Following which both of them died on the spot.

On being informed about the incident, the police reached the spot and recovered the bodies. The bodies were immediately sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
