UGC NET Exam 2021: Phase 3 examination dates released; Check details here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the examination schedule for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) December 2020 and June 2021 Phase-3  on December 22, 2021. The agency has also revealed the rescheduled dates of four UGC NET Phase-I papers that got postponed due to cyclone Jawad in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal.

As per the notice released by the agency, the UGC NET Phase-3 and the postponed examination of four subjects of phase 1 will be held on 4 and 5 January, 2022.

The notice of the agency states that ” Phase – III of the UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 Examination and the 4 rescheduled (due to cyclone Jawad) Net Subjects of Phase-I are scheduled to be conducted on January 4 and January 5, 2022.”

The agency has also added that the exams will be held in a computer-based mode.

  • Sociology: January 4, Shift 1
  • Geography (Group 1):January 5, Shift 1
  • Geography (Group 2):January 5, Shift 2

Exam Schedule for cyclone-affected candidates in Berhampur-Ganjam, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Gunupur, Puri, and Visakhapatnam

  • Social Work: January 4, Shift 1
  • Labour Welfare/Personnel management/Industrial relations/Labour and Social welfare/Human resource management: 4-January Shift 1
  • Odia: January 4, Shift 2
  • Telugu: January 4, Shift 2

According to the released schedule, the Sociology exam of Phase-3 is scheduled to be take place in a single shift on 4th January, while the Geography paper will be held in two shifts. NTA will announce the admit card for UGC NET Phase III through another notification on the official website soon.

Meanwhile, NTA released the admit cards of UGC NET Phase-2 exams on December 21, 2021. According to the agency, the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 Phase II examination will be conducted from 24 to 30 December.
