Know either the person who knows your Aadhaar number or has Aadhaar card can withdraw money from your Aadhaar linked account
Aadhaar card is one of the most important document of any India citizen. Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) issues the (Aadhaar card) which is a 12-digit unique identity number to all residents of India.
The Aadhaar card is such a valid and important document that it is asked or needed for all most every government works. Be it online application by the students, or applying for any government schemes by the family members, Aadhaar card has become mandatory.
As per the rules even the Aadhaar card is now linked to the bank accounts of the people and the official work at bank cannot be done without either Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number.
Since most of the works are done online, several online frauds with regard to Aadhaar card come to the fore. Many people misuse others Aadhaar card and Aadhaar numbers for their own benefits. In such a situation people are worried either a fraudster can withdraw money from Aadhaar linked bank account if he knows their Aadhaar number or has their Aadhaar card?
People should not be worried as the UIDAI has issued an official clarification in this regard. “Just by knowing your Aadhaar number or Aadhaar linked bank account, no one can withdraw money from Aadhaar linked bank account,” said UIDAI.
