Keeping this in mind, Ayurvedic foods and drinks can indeed help a lot in boosting immunity during the chilling season. Here are seven ayurvedic drinks that can help you boost your immunity and stay healthy in winter season.

Turmeric Milk

Add one teaspoon of turmeric powder with warm milk and drink it every day. Turmeric contains antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which helps in boosting immunity.

Ginger Tea

Boil ginger pieces in one glass of water till it becomes half glass. Strain it and add honey and lemon. Ginger majorly helps in fighting against infection and reduce inflammation. It also helps in digestion and blood circulation.

Ashwagandha Tea

Pour 1 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder in warm milk or water. It helps in reducing stress, improves sleep and also boost immunity.

Tulsi Tea

Boil 5 to 6 tulsi leaves in water for 10 minutes. Strain it and add honey and lemon to it. Tulsi has strong antibiotic properties. It can strengthen the immune system.

Amla Juice

Cinnamon Water

Boil one cinnamon stick in water for about 10 minutes. Later, strain it and drink it. Cinnamon is good at fighting against infections. It also reduces inflammation and helps in digestion.

Fenugreek Water

Soak nearly 1 tablespoon of fenugreek (methi) seeds overnight in water. Next morning, strain the water and drink it on an empty stomach. Methi helps in boosting immunity and also improve digestion.
