Angul: Two persons including a woman were killed in two separate snake bite incidents at Musapapuli and Korei villages of the district yesterday.
One Suresh Sahu of Musapapuli village was rushed to the local hospital yesterday evening after a snake bit him while he was doing manual work at his house. However, doctor declared him brought dead.
Similarly, Sulochana Sahu of Korei died on the spot when snake bit her while she was asleep last night along with her family members.
Meanwhile, bodies of Suresh and Sulochana have been kept at the district headquarters hospital for postmortem.
Police have also started investigations into both the cases.
