Director S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan has entered Rs 1000 crore club worldwide in just two weeks of its release. Before this, only Dangal and Baahubali 2 had made it to the 1000 crore club globally.
The flim has smashed several box office records on day 1 itself. Beating the record of Baahubali 2 as the biggest opener ever in the history of Indian cinema both in India and worldwide, Rajamouli is competing with himself.
On Saturday, trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to Twitter and wrote, “#RRRMovie enters the PRESTIGIOUS ₹1,000 cr club.” He later tweeted, “₹1000 cr+ club Indian movies. #Dangal #Baahubali2 #RRR.”
