Excitement is soaring high as ‘Animal,’ the upcoming film by Sandeep Reddy Vanga continues to create quite the buzz. Ever since the trailer of the film dropped, people cannot wait to Ranbir Kapoor in this unique role on the big screen. To cater to the eager audience, the makers opened advance bookings on November 25, six days ahead of the film’s release.
The Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ continues to create rampage at the box office. According to the latest report from Sacnilk.com, the film has already neared a Rs 10 crore mark at the box office, in terms of its advance booking numbers. This comes only three days after the makers opened advance booking option for ‘Animal.’
The film already raked in an impressive Rs 3.5 crores after selling over 1.2 lakh tickets across India on its first day of advance bookings. ‘Animal’ has managed to captivate the audiences, evident from the remarkable response in less than 24 hours since the advance booking began. Ranbir Kapoor’s never-seen-before avatar has surely intrigues fans, leading to the selling of over 1.2 lakh tickets and a collection of Rs 3.5 crores.
The exciting piece of news was shared by Film analyst Taran Adarsh, who revealed that on the first day of advance bookings, about 52,500 tickets were sold in PVR and Cinepolis alone.
With such immense hype, ‘Animal’ is likely to give a tough competition to other films like ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Jawan’ in advance booking numbers. In the Delhi-NCR region, ticket prices for ‘Animal’ range from Rs 250 to a whopping Rs 2,400 for a recliner seat. Even general seating in multiplexes can go as high as Rs 600. Mumbai sees similar pricing, reaching up to Rs 2200 at some locations.
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, ‘Animal’ film also boasts a star-studded cast including Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, and Prem Chopra. The film is set to have a global theatrical release on December 1. ‘Animal’ film will face off against Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ at the box office.
