Pankaj Tripathi takes on school administration in ‘OMG 2’ Trailer: A father’s fight for justice

Mumbai: The much-awaited trailer of the upcoming film ‘OMG 2’, starring Akshay Kumar, was unveiled on Thursday. The trailer promises a compelling storyline where a common man, played by Pankaj Tripathi, bravely stands up to the school administration in the pursuit of justice for his son.

The three-minute-long trailer introduces Pankaj Tripathi’s character, Kanti Sharan Mudgal, a devout follower of Lord Shiva. He finds himself as both the complainant and defendant in the court as he seeks justice for his son.

The story takes a dramatic turn when a video scandal involving Kanti’s son causes him to face public humiliation and rejection from the school administration. Despite his disapproval of his son’s actions, Kanti decides to support him, fearing society’s judgment and the tarnishing of his son’s reputation.

Throughout the film, Akshay Kumar’s character, portraying Lord Shiva, provides strength and support to Kanti during his battle against the powerful school administration and their team of legal experts.

‘OMG 2’ also stars Yami Gautam, Arun Govil, Pawan Malhotra, and Govind Namdev, promising a stellar ensemble cast.

The psychedelic track ‘Har Har Mahadev’ featured in the trailer adds to the essence and narrative of the film. The trailer showcases impressive shots of Akshay Kumar in his portrayal of Lord Shiva.

A comical highlight in the trailer is when Akshay’s character visits a shopkeeper and, in return for his blessings, the shopkeeper asks for money instead, adding a humorous touch to the film.
