Gadar 2 box office collection breaks record on Independence Day

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol’s latest film, ‘Gadar 2, is proving to be a powerhouse at the box office, bringing back the excitement that the industry has been missing for a while. Industry experts speculate that if ‘Gadar 2’ had been the sole release on Independence Day, it could have potentially earned around Rs 75 crore. However, due to space limitations and theatres being at full capacity, the expected earnings are estimated to be around Rs 55 crore.

The film’s strong reception is expected to continue as eager audiences, who couldn’t secure tickets on Independence Day, are likely to flock to theatres over the weekend. Anticipations are high that ‘Gadar 2’ will sustain its momentum over the coming days, possibly achieving an impressive second-weekend performance as well.

Sunny Deol and the ‘Gadar 2’ team celebrated the film’s success in the city. Overwhelmed by the response, Sunny expressed his emotions, joking that he felt like he was both laughing and crying on the evening of the film’s release, almost as if he were intoxicated. In a light-hearted moment, he shared with his father, “I haven’t been drinking.”
