Animal release on Dec 1: Censor Board suggests to cut intimate scenes of Ranbir Kapoor’s film

Censor Board of Film Certification report of soon to be soon-to-be-released action film Animal has surfaced online suggesting multiple cuts.

The Censor Board of Film Certification report of soon to be soon-to-be-released action film Animal has been released. The much-awaited Ranbir Kapoor starrer movie is set to hit the theatres on December 1.

An image of the Censor Board report has surfaced online which states that the movie has a duration of 203 minutes or 3 hours 23 minutes. The report has also revealed that the film has been awarded as an Adults Only (A) certificate. Moreover, the CBFC has also ordered director Sandeep Reddy Vanga to make five changes to the film including a scene involving intimate visuals. The reports says, “Modified the intimate visuals of Vijay and Zoya by deleting the close-up shots at TCR 02:28:37.”

The other changes to be made in the are the replacement of some words and lines. Such as CBFC ordered a word at 1 hour and 31 minutes to be modified to ‘Black’ and the word ‘vastra’  to be replaced with ‘costume’. Additionally, two undisclosed dialogues were modified to ‘Kabhi nahin’ and ‘Kya bol rahe ho aap’.

The film stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles along with Ranbir Kapoor. While Anil Kapoor plays the father, Balbir Singh, the son’s role of Arjun Singh is essayed by Ranbir Kapoor.

Animal is Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second Hindi film after the hugely successful Kabir Singh. Animal is expected to be another hit film of Ranbir Kapoor after Brahmastra. He was last seen alongside Shradha Kapoor in ‘Tu Jhuti Main Makar.’

Meanwhile, Animal is set to have a bumper opening with advance ticket booking reaching over 10 crores in the country in three languages.
