Yezdi teases its upcoming motorcycle ahead of its launch, check the teaser video here

Motorcycle manufacturer Yezdi is all set to revive itself with its upcoming bikes that are expected to get launched in this month. Recently the motorcycle manufacturer (Yezdi) has taken to its official Twitter account to tease a video of the upcoming launch. The company had announced earlier that its new motorcycles will get launched on January 13, 2022.

Yezdi is expected to launch as many as three models in India. The three models will include adventure motorcycle, a roadster and a scrambler. The adventure bike by Yezdi has been spotted on Indian roads for multiple times in the past. According to the recently launched teaser, the motorcycle will feature a round headlamp which will have halogen lights. The tail lamp of the motorcycle also looks circular in shape. The bike is seen in action on the sea beach. The upcoming bike is expected to have tall windscreen, front fender, rear luggage rack, jerry can holder etc.

The closer look of the bike in the teaser video shows that it will have spokes instead of alloy wheels. The chassis of the adventure motorcycle seems quite similar to that of Royal Enfield Himalayan. The caption in the video says ‘time to follow your dad’s footsteps’. The video ends with caption ‘don’t let daddy down’.

For those who are unknown about Yezdi, it is owned by Classic Legends Private Limited that owns Jawa motorcycles. After Jawa and BSA, Yezdi is the third brand that is revived by Classic Legends. The Yezdi motorcycles were introduced in India way back in 1973. The motorcycles manufactured by Yezdi were much popular in the past and the new motorcycles are expected to do the same.

The new Yezdi motorcycles will be based on the Jawa motorcycles which are available in India.

We are expecting that the upcoming Yezdi adventure bike will share the engine from a Jawa Perak. The 334cc engine of Perak is a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that generates a peak power of 30bhp and maximum torque of 32.74Nm. In terms of features, we can expect a full-LED setup at the front, digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity etc. The wheels of the adventure bike are expected to have spoke wheels for better convenience. In terms of suspension, the rear setup will have a mono-shock while the front will have telescopic front forks. Both the wheels will have disc brakes along with an anti-lock braking system (ABS).
