Simple One electric scooter receives 30,000 pre-bookings in India, To give strong competition to OLA Electric scooter

It seems that the Indian buyers have opened their arms for electric bikes. After the successful launch of OLA electric scooter, the Simple One electric scooter has received over 30,000 bookings. The Simple One electric scooter is developed by Bangalore based manufacturer and can be pre-booked at a token price of Rs 1947 at the company’s website.

The Simple One electric scooter is powered by a 4.8 kWh battery pack and offers a 236 km in ideal driving conditions, said the company. The Eco mode offered on the Simple One gives a range of 203 km on a single charge. The top speed offered by the electric scooter is 105 kmph. The scooter offers acceleration from 0 to 50 kmph in just 3.6 seconds.

The colour variants of Simple One electric scooter include four options- Namma Red, Azzure Blue, Grace White, and Brazen Black. Some smart features which are included in the scooter are TFT touchscreen with navigation controls, Bluetooth, 4G connectivity, vehicle tracking feature etc.

Even though the Simple One electric scooter has been launched on August 15, 2021 it is yet to hit the markets. The electric scooter is currently under pre-production stage while the production is expected to hit towards the end of 2021.

The OLA electric scooter recently launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 99,000 for the S1 variant. The S1 Pro variant of OLA is offered at Rs 1.29 lakh. As the oil prices in India are in an inclining trend, it is no wonder why customers are showing an interest towards electric scooters.
