Okaya Faast electric scooter launched in India, Offers a range up to 200 km on single charge

Okaya Electric has launched its new electric scooter Okaya Faast in the Indian market at an attractive price of Rs 89,999. The launch was made at the EX Expo 2021 held in Greater Noida. The interested customers can book the electric scooter by paying a token amount of just Rs 2000. The customers can make the booking through the official website of Okaya or walk into nearest dealer of Okaya EV. The electric scooter offers a value for money to its buyers, claims Okaya.

The Okaya Faast electric scooter is powered by a 4.4kw lithium phosphate battery pack which can offer a range up to 200 km per charge on a full charge. The minimum range that can be achieved in the scooter is 150 km. More or less, the driving habits of the user will impact the range of the Okaya Faast electric scooter. The top speed that can be achieved on the electric scooter is 60-70 kmph.

The features offered on the electric scooter include LED headlamp with LED DRLs, digital instrument cluster, combined braking system and many others. The company revealed during its launch that it has a vision to accelerate the adoption of EVs in India.  The company is also committed to bring innovative, low-cost high performance scooters for its buyers.

Anshul Gupta, Director, Okaya Power Private Limited revealed that the company has set up over 225 dealerships across India in first six months of its setup.  Okaya also showcased its upcoming electric bike ‘Ferrato’ in the EV Expo. The top speed that can be achieved by the Ferrato EV is 80-90 kmph. The company claims that the range that can be achieved by the motorcycle is 100 km. The Ferrato will be packed with a 2-kilowatt motor and 3-kilowatt battery.

In India, the Okaya faast electric scooter is expected to rival Ola S1 and Ather 450X.
