MG Motors gifts customised MG Hector SUV to Paralympian Bhavina Patel, Know details about it

MG Motors has come forward to felicitate Paralympian Bhavina Patel in a very innovative way. The company recently gifted the paralympian with a brand new MG Hector SUV. Keeping in mind about the convenience of Bhavina, MG has customised the Hector is a very innovative way.

Bhavani patel represented India in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 and won a Silver medal in Class 4 table tennis. MG Motor India in association with the Vadodara Marathon has felicitated Bhavina with Hector SUV that is customised for the para-athelete. The SUV includes safety features redesigned for Bhavina. The safety features include hand-controlled lever to operate the accelerator and brake. This customised MG Hector is equipped with a DCT transmission along with a start/stop button for convenience.

Bhavina patel thanked MG Motors and Vadodara Marathon on this special gesture.

MG Hector is available in a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit and a 2-litre diesel engine. The turbo-petrol unit offers a143PS of power and 250Nm of torque. On the other hand, the diesel unit offers 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque.

In terms of features, the Hector gets 18-inch alloy wheels, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM, 10.4 inch infotainment system, Infinity sound system, panoramic sunroof, cruise control etc. The SUV gets support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Other safety features of the SUV include six airbags, parking sensors at the front and rear, ABS with EBD etc.

In the Indian market, the MG Hector rivals Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Tucson, Hyundai Creta etc.
