Komaki Ranger: India’s first electric cruiser to launch in Jan 2022, to give 250 km in full charge

Komaki electric has announced that it will launch India’s first electric cruiser- Komaki Ranger in January 2022. The manufacturer had already teased the upcoming electric cruiser. The most important aspect of the Komaki Ranger is that it provides a range of 250 km on a full charge. If the claimed range is anywhere close to the actual range, then it will be very good news for bike enthusiasts in India.

Komaki Ranger is powered by a 4-kilowatt battery pack which will be powerful enough to offer a range of 250 km. It was also revealed that the Ranger will be powered by a 5000-watt motor. With a 4 kilowatt battery on the Ranger will feature the largest battery pack in any electric vehicle offered in India.

The important features that are offered in the cruiser bike are cruise control, repair switch, reverse switch, Bluetooth system, and advanced braking system. Considering the range of the bike it can be assumed that it is for those types of bikers who prefer short trips at weekends. How far does it fare in the actual Indian conditions will be known once it is launched.

Even though the company has refrained from telling the price of the vehicle, we expect that the electric cruiser bike will cost somewhere around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). Komaki has promised that it will keep the price of the cruiser bike affordable to such an extent that the middle-class audience will not feel expensive while purchasing it.

Komaki revealed that it has invested more than 1 million USD in the design and development of the ranger. The company is also committed to providing a quality ride when it comes to the riding quality of the Komaki Ranger.

Considering the hike in petrol prices in the recent months, an electric two-wheeler can seem like an alternative.
