Ford Figo automatic variant launched in India at a starting price of Rs 7.75 lakh

Automaker Ford has introduced the new Ford Figo automatic in India at a starting price of Rs 7.75 lakh. The Figo automatic is introduced in India a year after its announcement by the company. This version of Figo is BS6 complaint and offers a host of features.

Some important details including price and specifications about the Ford Figo automatic are as follows:

Engine: The Figo gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This engine churns out 96hp of power and a torque of 119Nm. However, the diesel variant of the does not get an automatic gearbox option.

Features: The vehicle comes with features such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic air-conditioning, electrically adjustable ORVMs, height adjustment for driver seat, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, push-button start etc. The features are present in Titanium and Titanium+ trims.

Safety: In terms of safety, the car gets up to six airbags. The car also gets rear parking camera, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill-launch assist and traction control. The Figo also gets a refreshing new dual-tone design and 15-inch alloy wheels.

Price: The Titanium trim of the Ford is available at Rs 7.75 lakh while the top model (Titanium+ ) is priced at Rs 8.20 lakh. All the prices are ex-showroom price in India.

Competitors: In India the Ford Figo automatic will rival the automatic versions of the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
