It seems that India is witnessing a revolutionary change in terms of electric mobility. Both the four wheeler and who wheeler sector of the automobile industry has not remained untouched by this change. There has been an addition of one more electric bike in India-Corbett. The Corbett electric bike has been launched by Boom Motors and it offers an extremely attractive range up to 200km.

In terms of features the Boom Corbett electric bike is powered by a 2.3 KWh battery. The important aspect of the battery of the electric bike is that it can be doubled up to 4.6 KWh, which makes it possible to offer a range up to 200 km. The best part of the batteries is that they can be swappable according to the convenience of the user. The company provides a portable charger which can charge the battery if plugged to a 15A electric socket, which is generally available in normal households.

The top speed of the Boom Corbett electric bike is 75 kmph and it can carry a maximum weight of 200kg. Boom Motors claims that the battery of the electric bike is fire-proof and long lasting. There is even a 5-year warranty on the battery of the electric bike. On the other hand the chassis of the bike gets a 7 year warranty. Some key features of the bike include, petrol savings tracking, accident/ theft detection, CO2 offset tracking, parental mode etc. The bookings of the Boom Corbett electric bike start today (November 12) with just Rs 499. The company also offers an introductory discount of Rs 3000. The customers who have purchased the electric bike can expect deliveries from January 2022.

The Corbett electric bike will be available to users at Rs 89,999. However, the enthusiasts interested to purchase the bike will be offered with a 5-year EMI. The EMI rates of the scooter will be as low as Rs 1699 per month.
