With this new generation of Maruti Suzuki Celerio, the company brings a bunch of updates. Both exterior and interior updates are found in the 2021 edition of Celerio. The new Celerio gets a new K-series engine and offers an enhanced fuel efficiency that is around 23% better than its predecessor.
Price
The 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio is priced between Rs 4.99 lakh and Rs 6.94 lakh (ex-showroom). The hatchback is offered in manual and automatic versions and in seven variants. The seven variants are LXI MT (Rs 4.99 lakh), VXI MT (Rs 5.63 lakh), VXI AMT (Rs 6.13 lakh), ZXI MT (Rs 5.94 lakh), ZXI AMT (Rs 6.44 lakh), Rs ZXI+ MT Rs 6.44 lakh) and ZXI+ AMT (RS 6.94 lakh).
Engine
When it comes to engine, the new Celerio is be powered by a next-generation of k-series dual-jet (K10C) engine. The K10C engine is 998cc and has 3 cylinders (4 valves in each cylinder). The maximum output of the 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio is 49 kW @ 5500 rpm. On the other hand, the maximum torque generated from the engine is 89 Nm @ 3500 rpm and is tuned to BS6 emission norms.
