Upcoming BMW bike in India will be BMW G310 RR, pre-launch bookings open

BMW has started the pre-launch bookings for its upcoming sports bike- BMW G310 RR in India. The BMW G310 RR will be based on Apache RR 310 and is expected to offer similar features to the buyers. The company (BMW) had teased about the launch of G310 RR few days earlier, and we are quite happy to know about this development.

The BMW G310 RR is expected to launch in India on July 15 and the deliveries of the same will begin soon after. BMW is offering an attractive EMI of INR 3999 per month for the BMW G310 RR. BMW is also offering zero down payment and an option to fund insurance and accessories for the BMW G310 RR.

When it comes to the engine, the bike is expected to have the same 312.2cc FI engine with 6-speed gearbox. The single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine will offer 34hp power at 9700rpm. The peak torque will be 27.3Nm at 7700rpm. The chassis of the bike is expected to be a trellis frame while retaining the same sub frame. The suspension of the bike is expected to have a USD fork and mono-shock just like the Apache RR310. However, the bike might get an adjustable mono-shock and fully adjustable USD fork just like the RR310 BTO (Built to Order). The brakes of the new G310 RR seem to be different than that of the RR310.

When it comes to features of the new bike, the BMW G 310 RR will offer Bluetooth connectivity with TFT display. Various modes on the bike will include Rain, Urban, Sport and Track. The various riding modes on the bike will allow it to alter the performance according to the situation of the rider.

In terms of pricing, the new BMW bike is expected to be costlier than the current BMW G 310 R and the TVS Apache RR310 on which it will be based on. The BMW G310 RR is expected to be priced around Rs 3 lakh when it launches in India. As BMW will tease more information in the upcoming days, stay tuned for the latest updates.
