Okinawa launches all new all new Okhi-90 e-scooter in India
The new Okhi-90 e-scooter will come up in four color variants. It has been equipped with enhanced security and intelligence features.
Renowned Indian EV manufacturer, Okinawa, has revealed a game-changing transformation for its Okhi-90 electric scooter. The revamped version of the Okhi-90 will be available at the same price as the outgoing model at Rs 1.86 lakh. The upgraded model will be deliverable from September 2023 onwards.
The new Okhi-90 e-scooter has a lot of new features in it. For instance, the vehicle can go up to 160 km on a single charge. It also comes with a micro charger. The vehicle offers E-ABS (Electronic-Assisted Braking System) with regenerative energy. The scooter can be fully charged in about 4-5 hours. Other new features in the all-new Okhi-90 e-scooter include a digital speedometer and an anti-theft alarm. The vehicle also offers GPS navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. The scooter can be connected to a smartphone via the Okinawa Connect app.
The new Okhi-90 e-scooter will come up in four color variants – Red, Blue, Grey, and White. The vehicle has been developed for enhanced security and intelligence features. The company claims that the vehicle can sense if it is being tampered with. In such cases, the anti-theft alarm will go off.
The suspension in the EV will be managed by a hydraulic suspension in the front and a double shocker mechanism in the rear. Okinawa company is likely to increase its product portfolio after its collaboration with Italian partner, Tacita.
