Odysse Vader electric bike launched in India at around Rs 1.10 lakh

Ahmedabad-based electric two-wheeler brand, Odysse Electric, has launched its latest two-wheeler in India. The new electric motorcycle of the company is called Odysse Vader and is priced at Rs. 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Ahmedabad). The Odysse Vader is the first electric bike to feature a 7-inch android display.

Interested customers can book the Odysse Vader at the company’s website and at any of the company’s 68 outlets across the country for a minimal booking amount of just Rs 999.  The delivery of the bike will begin in July 2023.

Design, feature, powertrain

The Odysse Vader features commuter-style bodywork and sports a round LED headlight, a split seat, and a slim tank. A 3.7kWh battery is placed right below the tank. The battery is covered by large side panels. The electric motorcycle comes with a 3kW motor, which is claimed to offer a top speed of 85kmph. Meanwhile, the 3.7kWh battery provides a claimed range of 125km in the Eco mode.

Odysse offers Vader with three ride modes, reverse mode, a seven-inch instrument console, navigation, live tracking, immobilization, Geo-fencing, as well as low battery alert. The vader rides on n alloy wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres. It has telescopic front forks, and dual rear shocks. The breaking system includes a front/rear disc brake setup.

The company has a Odysse EV App available on Android, which offers a Bike Locator, Anti-theft, Geo fence, Immobilization, track & trace, and Low battery Alert, among other essential utilities for ease of navigation.
