Mahindra Thar owner drives over divider to skip toll: Caught on video
A video of a Mahindra Thar owner violating traffic norms by skipping a toll by jumping over the curb at a toll booth has surfaced online.
Mahindra Thar is a popular lifestyle SUV in India. It continued to be a popular choice for many even after years of it’s launch. The previous generation of the Mahindra Thar was the first choice for many due to it’s off-road abilities.
However, some seem to be utilizing it for very wrong reasons such as breaking traffic norms and damaging public properties. In such as case, a video of a Mahindra Thar owner violating traffic norms by skipping a toll by jumping over the curb at a toll booth has surfaced on the internet.
The video, which was shared by Nikhil Rana on his YouTube channel, shows a Mahindra Thar approaching a toll gate, then suddenly turning the vehicle and drives over the curb and goes through the pocket road for bikers instead of going through the toll gate. The video does not reveal where this incident took place.
The toll officer calls the Thar driver to stop but it does not slow down and speeds through the road. The video was actually recorded by a person who was traveling in a car behind the Thar.
The Mahindra Thar seen here had aftermarket wheels and looks like the owner also got a lift kit installed in it. The SUV drove over the curb without any major issues.
This is not the first time a Mahindra Thar owner was seen violating traffic norms. Prior to this, we have seen Thar owner attempting some insane actions like damaging public properties, driving on the pedestrian lane or crossing overflowing rivers, etc.
Mahindra Thar has been on sale for a couple of years and still sees a long waiting period for select variants of this SUV.
