Kawasaki Versys X 300 might be launching in India; Spotted while testing

Kawasaki might be looking forward to launch under 400cc adventure tourer in India soon. It is so because the Kawasaki Versys X 300 has been seen while testing in Pune and was initially spotted by bikewale. For those who are unknown, the Kawasaski Versys X 300 is already on sale in the international market.

The test bike which was spotted while testing is the same one which is available in the international market. It offers the same design and bodywork as the international model. The motorcycle gets a single pod headlight with a visor. The bike offers long tank extensions which covers the radiator guard as well.

When it comes to the engine of the motorcycle, we get a 296cc parallel-twin cylinder engine that is also present in the Ninja 300. The one on the Ninja produces 39bhp of peak power and 26.1Nm of maximum torque. The engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox. We can expect that the power figures produced by the Kawasaki Versys X 300 will be quite similar to that of the Ninja 300.

When it comes to hardware of the motorcycle, we might get halogen headlight along wit bulb type indicators as well as tail light. There will also be a slip and assist clutch on the motorcycle. In terms of wheels, we will have a 19-inch front wheel while the at the rear we will have a 17-inch rear setup. We get a single seat as well as tail rack on the motorcycle. Braking duties will be carried by front and rear disc brakes. We can expect dual channel ABS on the bike as well. The wheels are spoked wheels and get tube tyres.

In India, the Kawasaki Versys X 300 is expected to cost more than the Kawasaki Ninja 300 by as much as Rs 30,000- Rs 40,000. This gives the Versys X 300 a price tag of around Rs 4,00,000.
