Hailstorm And Rains Expected In Odisha For 2 Days, See Details

Bhubaneswar: According to the Regional Met Department situated in Bhubaneswar moderate to heavy rains accompanied by hailstorms is expected to occur at isolated places in Odisha for the next two days.

Thunderstorm, lightning with gusty surface wind is also expected to occur at many places across Odisha, a yellow warning has been issued in this regard.

Mild to moderate rain is expected at several places in coastal Odisha and other districts including Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Keonjhar Mayurbhanuj, Deogarh, Angul Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput districts.

The MeT department has issued yellow warning for some districts. A thunderstorm alert, yellow warning has been issued to the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha and Nayagarh.

There will  not be much change in daytime temperature added the MeT Department.
