16 Injured Due To Cylinder Blast In 4-Storey Mumbai Building

Mumbai: At least 16 people were injured in a cylinder blast at a residentital building in South Mumbai’s Lalbaug area today morning.

The incident took place at 7.23 AM in the Sarabhai building in Ganesh Galli in Mumbai.

Out of the 16 injured persons, 12 were immediately admitted to King Edward Memorial Hospital and four to Global Hospital.

On being informed, two fire tenders and two tankers reached the spot and doused the flames.

After the blast, the residents of the building were shifted to Hotel Hiramani in Lalbaug.
