Bhubaneswar: Russian President Vladimir Putin has appreciated a class-IX student of Odisha for his innovative water dispenser at the Deep Technology Education Programme in Sochi, Russia.
P. Biswanath Patra, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Berhampur made a water dispenser in the event and shared his innovation to end water crisis across the globe.
“We would really like it if more kids like you from India can come and participate. It would be great,” Putin’s translator said.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took Twitter route to convey his pleasure and wish Biswanath his best.

AIM-SIRIUS Deep Technology Learning, Innovation Programme in Sochi was held in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between AIM and SIRIUS last year.
Biswanath was one of the 25 Indian students who participated in the programme held from November 28 to December 8.
