Common PG Entrance Test In Odisha Universities From 2020-21 Academic Session

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to conduct a common PG entrance test in all subjects in the universities from the next academic session on a specified date, informed by Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo.

The decision was taken during  a meeting of the vice-chancellors of the universities in the state presided by the minister. Vice Chancellors of 11 universities in the State and other officials of the Higher Education Department were present in the meeting.

“Earlier students were forced to appear entrance examination for concerned universities for which they had to face difficulties. But with the new system they need not to visit several universities for entrance test,” said an official.

The minister has also directed the concerned authorities to publish Plus III and back paper results by June 15.
