Bhubaneswar: Former Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik has updated his X (formerly Twitter) handle, said reports on Wednesday.
The profile description of Naveen Patnaik has been changed from CM of Odisha and has been updated to President, Biju Janata Dal (BJD). The former CM of Odisha had ruled the state for 24 years and 3 months since 1997 and lost to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the General Elections 2024.
Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik tendered his resignation to the Governor as his reign of 24 years and three months came to an end on June 5. Former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took oath as Chief Minister for the first time on March 5, 2000. He resigned from the post of Chief Minister exactly after 24 years and three months.
It is worth mentioning here that, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is the most popular Chief Minister of Odisha. Despite the defeat of BJD, Naveen still remains in the hearts of the millions of people of Odisha.
