The chancellor of a state university in Wisconsin was fired this week after posting pornographic videos with his wife online.

UW-La Crosse chancellor Joe Gow, 63, was terminated by the board of regents on Wednesday after it recently discovered he and wife Carmen Wilson posted adult video on porn sites.

Joe Gow has led as the Chancellor of University of Wisconsin since 2007 and he has served the longest leader since 1960’s. His wife has also been removed who was working as an associate to the chancellor.

Report says, Gow and his wife have made videos together for years, but recently they decided to make it public on the porn websites.

Statements were issued by the Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman that Gow’s such activities have got significant reputational harm to the university.

In a phone interview with Associated Press (AP), Gow revealed that he had never mentioned about the university in any of his videos and his firing violated his freedom of speech. “My wife and I live in a country where we have a first amendment”, he said.

“We are dealing with the consensual adult sexuality. The regents are overreacting. They are certainly not adhering to their own commitments to free of speech or First Amendment”.
