Vivo S17 spotted on Geekbench, to offer Snapdragon 778G+ SoC

Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo S17 series in China on May 31. The Vivo S17 5G will be offered with a dual-sport setup on the rear and is expected to offer a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. There will be multiple devices in the series and that includes devices like the S17t, S17 and S17 Pro. Few days ahead of its launch the S17 smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench website.

Vivo S17 specifications

The Vivo S17 will offer a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels. The refresh rate of the display is 120Hz. The model number of the device is V2283A.

The device is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset and will run Android 13-based Origin OS 3 out of the box. The processor is codenamed Lahaina. The chipset is coupled with an Adreno 642L GPU.

When it comes to the camera of the device, it offers a dual camera setup. The primary camera of the device is a 50 MP camera. The ultra-wide camera gets an 8MP sensor. In terms of memory, the S17 is expected to offer up to 256GB storage. The variant of the smartphone listed on Geekbench offers 12GB of RAM. This means that we will possibly get 8GB RAM variant too.

On the other hand, the front camera on the device is a 50MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The S17 will feature a curved display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.

For authentication purposes, the smartphone is expected to offer an under-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of power, the device offers a 4500mAh battery and 80W fast charging system.
