Samsung launches new 20,000mAh Quick Charge Power Bank with 45W output

Samsung has introduced a new 20,000mAh power bank with 45W output named ‘Samsung Quick Charge 45W power bank’ as the successor to the 10,000mAh power bank, which was released at the end of 2022. The new Samsung power bank was launched in the UK.

As its name suggests, the new power bank is claimed to charge compatible devices faster with an improved 45W output. Samsung has claimed that the Samsung Quick Charge 45W power bank is manufactured using recycled materials, which makes it eco-friendly. Moreover, it has three USB Type-C ports instead of two.

There is no information on when the power bank will be launched in other markets, including India.

The power bank is listed on the e-commerce site in UK  for a price of GBP 59.99, which is around Rs 6,340 in Indian Rupees. The Samsung 20,000mAh power bank is listed in a single beige colour. Samsung Quick Charge 45W power bank specifications

As we mentioned above though the 20,000mAh Samsung power bank has three ports for charging, it only allows charging for two devices at the same time.At the time of charging, the maximum power out will be 9W. With a maximum power output of 45W, it can charge all Galaxy smartphones, including the recently launched Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24+.

The power bank has a reset button next to the port, which can be used to reset the device by pressing it for 7.5 seconds in case of a glitch or if the power bank is not charging.

Samsung offers a 20cm long USB Type-C to USB Type-C charging cable with a 20,000mAh power bank.

This is the first time Samsung has launched a 20,000mAh power bank with a 45W output.
