Redmi Watch 3 Active launched in India with calling support: Price, specs

Xiaomi announced the Redmi Watch 3 Active along with the Redmi 12 4G and 5G phones in India. The device is priced at Es 2999 and is more of a fitness tracker than a smartwatch. The product was initially unveiled in a select few global markets a few weeks back.

Redmi Watch 3 Active Specifications

The Redmi Watch 3 Active has a square design similar to the Apple Watch. It features a 1.83-inch LCD display with a resolution of 240 x 280 pixels and up to 450 nits brightness level. Users get to choose over 200 watch faces for the display.

The device has support for make and receive calls, which is possible with a speaker and a microphone.

It pairs with smartphones via Bluetooth 5.3 and is compatible with both Android and iOS.

The watch can be worn in rain and near water bodies thanks to the 5 ATM water resistant. The wearable has a metal middle frame.

To keep track of health of user, the device features an optical heart rate sensor and an SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen level tracking. It also supports sleep monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking, and more along with over 100 fitness modes.

According to the company, the wearable is claimed to have up to 12 days of battery life on light usage and up to 8 days on heavy usage.

Redmi Watch 3 Active Price in India

The Redmi is offering the Watch 3 Active with a limited time price of Rs 2,999 in India. It has been introduced in Platinum Grey or Charcoal black color options.
The wearable device will go on sale at 12 PM via Mi.com and retail stores on August 3.
