In recent news, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio has introduced a new prepaid plan priced at Rs 909, quietly entering the market with attractive offerings. The plan will remain valid for 84 days. It will provide users with 2GB and 5G data per day. Along with it will be unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Notably, it also includes subscriptions to JioCinema, JioCloud, Sony LIV, and Zee5 through the JioTV application.
This move follows Mukesh Ambani’s strategy of disrupting the telecom sector by providing affordable plans and devices. The Reliance Jio plans often come bundled with additional services and subscriptions to popular OTT platforms. The Rs 909 prepaid plan seems to align with this approach, catering to the growing demand for data and entertainment.
In addition to the new prepaid plan, Reliance Jio recently announced a booster plan for Jio AirFiber priced at Rs 401. The booster plan offers 1000GB of data and is valid for a single billing cycle. It serves as an option for users who require extra data for a limited period, complementing their regular Jio AirFiber or Jio AirFiber Max plans.
This acts as Reliance Jio’s another consistent effort to meet diverse user needs and to provide value-added services to the users.
