Luxury brand Louis Vuitton has launched a new wireless earphones that are going viral as the ' world's most expensive earphones.'

Luxury brand Louis Vuitton ventured into the electronic market with the launch of new wireless earphones in March. Now the luxury brand earphones are going viral for their striking look, opulent design, and jaw-dropping price. The Louis Vuitton earphones named Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up are listed on the website. The pair of earphones are said to be the ‘World’s most expensive earphones’ with a price tag of $1,660 (Rs 1.38 lakhs).

The earbuds are encased in a beautiful charging case inspired by the Tambour Horizon Light Up watch. These exclusive earphones are made out of a jewel-like golden-yellow metal. The earphones feature a sapphire glass top disk with yellow-golden back-printing of yellow golden connected monogram pattern. Featuring an aluminum frame with yellow-golden PVD coating, the earphones have a polished stainless steel case that has yellow-golden PVD coating and has the LOUIS VUITTON branding along with silicon tips. A beautiful monogram of flowers light up in a blue-to-pink gradient when interacting with the case. The earphones weigh 8.2g each and the case has a weight of 119g.

The Louis Vuitton Horizon earphones have IPX5 water resistance and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity that enables them to stay connected up to 30 meters.

However, as with many Louis Vuitton products, opinions on the design vary, with some finding the aesthetic a bit ostentatious and the pricing exorbitant. The earphones can last up to 12 hours with a single charge. Moreover, the earbuds have proximity sensors that enable them to play/pause automatically. Moreover, each earphone can be used independently for calling and listening.

The right earphone, left earphone, and charging case battery levels is shown outside of the case via the LED light ring, and inside the case via the light indicators. The charging case can last up to a total of approximately 28 hours of battery life. It can be charged 50 per cent battery in 15 minutes and 100 per cent battery in 40 minutes. The charging case is IPX4 for water resistance.
