Jio Bharat V2 4G Phones now available in over 10000 stores in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The recently launched Reliance Jio 4G feature phone -Jio Bharat V2- is now available in over 10000 stores and shops across 300 cities and towns in Odisha. The Jio Bharat Phone is priced at just Rs 999/. The company aims to realize the vision of a 2G mukt Bharat by digitally enabling millions of 2G users across the country.

The phone has been gifted to around 300 needy persons across these cities and towns, ranging from sweepers, auto-rickshaw drivers, gatekeepers, gardeners, housemaids, daily wagers, carpenters etc. Eminent dignitaries and social workers of these cities and towns distributed the Jio Bharat V2 phone to the needy persons.

Jio aims to empower the lower and poor people of the country who can’t afford 4G smartphones, which cost thousands of rupees with Jio Bharat phone which is affordable for them. The phone provides features and digital capabilities that allow different segments of society to achieve more with advanced connectivity.

Jio Bharat V2 Phone specifications

The Jio Bharat Phone comes with the Jio-Saavn app that let’s them access to 80 million songs and the free subscription to JioCinema allows them to watch movies, TV shows, sports etc. It also has the Jio-Pay app for UPI transactions.

Moreover, the phone is lightweight with a weight of only 71 grams.

The price of ‘Jio Bharat V2’ is the cheapest among all the phones available in the market that work on the Internet.

Jio Bharat V2 Phone Recharge Plans

The device comes with 30 percent cheaper monthly plan and 7 times more data compared to feature phone offerings of other operators.

Customers can recharge the ‘Jio Bharat V2’ with monthly plan of Rs 123 which has a validity of 28 days. The plan also provides voice calls and SMS facility along with 14 GB data, compared to other operators’ Rs 179 plan for voice calls and 2GB data. The annual plan costs Rs 1234 and offers 0.5 GB data per day and unlimited voice calls.

The basic voice services for a 30-day period, which used to cost Rs 99 previously, now costs Rs 199.

According to Jio, India still has 250 million mobile users are using 2G feature phones. The Made in India Jio Bharat V2 phone will be good for those who can’t afford the other smartphones available on the market but still want to enjoy the 4G services.
