Honor 90 GT smartphone launched: Features Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 100W charging and more

Honor 90 GT has been launched in China with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, Honor Oasis eye protection screen, 5,000 mAh battery.

Honor 90 GT has become the latest smartphone to carry Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is seen in phones like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus Open, Xiaomi 13 Pro, iQOO 11 5g, and more.

The device has made its debut in the Chinese market and is available for pre-order in three colour options and four RAM and storage configurations. There is no information about its arrival in global markets including India yet.

The mid-range smartphone packs some decent specifications and features. The price range of the smartphone has been set between CNY 2,599 to CNY 3,699 in China. In Indian rupees, its price is between Rs 30,000 to Rs 43,000.

Honor 90 GT specifications

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC chipset-powered smartphone features a dual rear camera system housing a 50-megapixel IMX800 main sensor, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. An LED flash unit is given to capture images in the dark. It features a lone 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

The 4nm octa-core Snapdragon processor is paired with Adreno 740 GPU, up to 24GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage.

The 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED panel provides an immersive viewing experience. The screen supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate, and resolution of 2,664 x 1,200 pixels. It also has an Honor Oasis eye protection feature.

It boots Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 out-of-the-box and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

The other features of the phone include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 5G, and 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS connectivity. The handset weighs 187g and measures 162.5mm x 75.3mm x 7.9mm in size.

Honor 90 GT price, availability

The price of the Honor 90 GT is as follows:

12GB RAM and 256GB option – CNY 2,599, which is around Rs 30,300 in Indian Rupees.

12GB RAM and 256GB option – CNY 2,899, which is around Rs 33,800 in Indian Rupees.

12GB RAM and 256GB option – CNY 3,199, which is around Rs 37,300 in Indian Rupees.

24GB RAM and 1TB variant – CNY 3,699, which is around Rs 43,100 in Indian Rupees.

It will be available for purchase in in Burn Fast Gold, GT Blue and Star Black colour options on Honor China website starting December 26
