Apple MacBook might offer a virtual keyboard in the future, Concept images surface out

Apple’s Macbook can be considered as an efficient piece of technology in the current times. The performance and technology offered by the Macbooks is very good. According to recent reports, Apple is expected to introduce a foldable display in its MacBook series. Multiple reports confirmed by 9to5Mac suggest that Apple is working on a kind of foldable display.

As the reports about Apple working on a foldable display were from reliable sources, we can expect the foldable technology in MacBook at some point of time. Any official word by Apple about the fully furnished product in yet to be heard.

According to the display analyst Ross Young, the new MacBook will be a device which will offer a virtual keyboard. The virtual keyboard can be unfolded into a larger monitor and then operated along with a virtual keyboard.

Display analyst Antonio De Rosa has created a set of renders about what the upcoming Apple product might look like. According to her, the device will have a physical track pad along with virtual keyboard. However, when the laptop is in the folded form, it does not look any different than the current generation of MacBook.

When the MacBook is opened, it looks almost the same as the current MacBook. The virtual keyboard is present on the lower section of the folded display. The virtual keyboard can be used for multiple purposes rather than for just typing. Various applications that are present on the MacBook can be accessed by using the virtual keyboard.

However, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman Apple might use the foldable display with either a hybrid MacBook or an iPad. Gurman stressed that the physical keyboard and a trackpad will be replaced with a fully functional touch screen.

Even though there are multiple reports about Apple working on virtual keyboard, we would rather take it with a pinch of salt. An official word from the MacBook maker is eagerly awaited.
