Apple MacBook Air launch gets delayed; MacBook Pro might be available next year

Tech giant Apple recently hosted its spring event (March 8) and we were quite excited about the arrival of new products. However, it seems that redesigned MacBook Air which was expected to launch at the end of 2021 or early 2022 has been delayed. The redesigned MacBook air is now expected to launch in the second half of 2022.

According to the Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the new MacBook Air was originally expected to launch in early 2022 or 2021 end. However, the time frame has been delayed and the MacBook Air will launch in second half of 2022. The new MacBook will feature a refreshed design along with Magsafe, the M2 chip and many more important features.

Gurman also highlighted some important facts about the MacBook Pro models which are about to launch this year. The 14-inch and 16 inch versions of the MacBook Pro will come with M2 Pro and M2 Max chipset and will be available in the market next year (2023). Gurman also said that the refreshed entry-level 13 inch MacBook Pro will be the only MacBook Pro that will launch this year. The 13 inch MacBook Pro will feature a M2 chip.

The other Apple devices that might be launching with MacBook Pro will be 24-inch iMac, entry-level Mac mini and iPad Pro. All the devices will be equipped with M2 chips.
