Apple iPhone 15 series launch likely on September 13

The iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are reportedly scheduled to launch on September 13, 2023.

Apple has reportedly scheduled the launch date of its next-generation iPhone 15 line-up for September 13. If we look at the launch timeline of previous generation of iPhone, then this rumour might come true.

As per the latest reports, the launch of iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will also take place in September.  As per the latest report by 9to5Mac revealed that the tech giant’s employees have been asked not to take a leave on September 13. There seems to be a big smartphone announcement on that day.

Though, it does not specify whether Apple will be the one to make the announcement. But, the Cupertino-based technology giant typically showcases new iPhone’s in September.

Last year, Apple unveiled the iPhone 14 models at its ‘Far Out’ launch event on September 7. Another interesting fact is that most iPhone events have happened on a Tuesday but last year’s event happened on Wednesday. September 13 also happens to be a Wednesday.

The iPhone 14 sales began a little later in  October due to supply issues. Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 pre-orders started in September.

Apple is reportedly facing the same supply issue with the iPhone 15 due to issues with manufacturing process. The iPhone 15 Pro, in particular, will face a significant shortage on launch.

Due to this, Apple will reportedly sell the phones in limited quantities at first, till the supply issue resolves.

Though Apple has not revealed any information regrading the new iPhone 15 series. The multiple leaks and rumours have let us know some specifications and pricing details of the upcoming iPhones.

As per leak reports, the vanilla models are expected to run on Apple’s A16 Bionic SoC, while the iPhone 15 Pro models are tipped to be powered by A17 Bionic SoC.
